Description

24V Narada REXC-600 battery

 

This battery comes with 12 times 2V 600Ah cells.  In a 24V set-up, this battery would have a capacity of 24×600=14.4kWh or 28.8kWh in a 48V set-up at a 10h discharge rate. The 120h discharge capacity is 720Ah. This is the overall capacity and the usable storage is about 50% of this value.

Bulk size: 12 cells including connections cables for 24V in an international shipping package from the factory. It can be handled with normal forklifting machines with a weight of 582kg with no special logistics requirements.

 

Installation

This capacity is a good choice for 48V full off-grid houses with low power demand and in 24V for summer holiday homes. A rack is available on request.

  • 12 x 360Wp solar panels
  • 6 x 4.2m rails, fixtures, clamps and cables
  • 4000W low frequency inverter/charger
  • MPPT150/70 charge controller

We do supply full systems and provide installation support. We either consult your preferred electrician or we use our inspector level installers.

Warranty

Narada provides a 5 year pro-rata* warranty when used under specified conditions.

*Pro-rata warranty depreciates the value of warranty by 20% annually – by either restoring the capacity or deducting the compounded value in a new purchase. EWe provide you our T&C´s on each purchase or on request.

 

Service Life

This battery can achieve a service life of up to 25 years. This requires a well engineered system and a specified cycling of the battery. A typical off-grid layout would have a minimum of 4kWp solar and a generator back-up to avoid any partial stages of discharge (PSoC) in dark periods. If you are not sure how to design a layout, just get in touch and we help you to optimise your whole system.

This is a 24V Narada REXC600 battery comes with 12 individual 2V cells. The capacity is 600Ah at C10 and 720 at C120.

Narada do provide a five year pro-rata warranty conditioned to specified usage. Specs are within the instruction manual and is a parts of our terms and conditions. This offer comes with a free delivery within acceptable reach from Christchurch. If you consider self-pickup, be aware of the high weight of about 570kg per crate.

When it comes to an off-grid system, the REXC is one of the best choices. It can cycle deeper, lives longer and can draw more Ampere than a same size Gel or AGM battery. If you are using it right – (I can advise you), this battery can live 20 to 25 years, even when daily cycled. These combined benefits makes a lead-carbon superior even to much more expensive lithium technology. No hassle with re-watering etc and can be operated on its side as well. The REXC series is special designed for hard cycle. It is more than “just” lead-carbon!
