The Growatt SPF 5000 ES is a HF off-grid inverter in the lower price segment, which makes it suitable for workshops, batches or site offices applications. Its integrated MPPT charger is high voltage DC capable of up to 450VDC to run either with a 48VDC battery but also without. This unit can connect with a AC power source that powers the internal charger. Different programs and priorities can be set e.g. charging preferring grid charging (UPS modus) or solar for self consumption optimisation.
This unit works well with our Jinergy 550W or 450W PV modules of up to 8 panels in a string and we recommend the Narada 6REXC300 battery but there is no reason not to increase capacity with the REXC600 or even REXC1000.
